Sensitivity and Sin

There was that pastor struggling with a pickle, his conscience told him not to eat it. Is his struggle any less legitimate?

For the sake of a pickle can we lose God?

But Jesus says if something is a hindrance to our souls to cut it off.

How can you fellowship with someone who does something you think is a sin? Each man is accountable to God for what He does and believes.

Can two walk together unless they be agreed?

True Christianity

The Christian in dying spreads light, while the unholy, even in his riches, spreads darkness.

The Christian, even when given unpleasant and horrible things, is taught how to change them into beauty

The Christian in darkness still shines with love

This is the grace of Christ's spirit

The Christian is guided by providence.

The Christian is guided by providence and guarded by obstacles.

Also, if there is something that you are not able to get for some reason, move on to something else until God provides the opening.

Pray for God to either remove your obstacles or reveal another way.

If you must kill to get ahead, it is better to stay where you are. God will make you what you need to be.

As far as all of the other faults that you have --- indulging in sins and weaknesses weakens the protection of God around you. That is why, as He reveals your faults to you you will have to give up your unholiness because way of perfection is really the only way.

Learn to choose the holy path because even its negative consequences will only make you better.

God's Call is Irrevocable

Isnt it interesting, that the efforts of Christians are not to convince, but to reveal since God has already separated His children from the beginning.

And so our love for Jesus will either draw a soul and develop it or repel it and harden it in its unholiness. All of the opportunities that we give for others to hurt us reveal their hearts by whether they choose to do it or not.

All of these things are to reveal and not to change. There is the change of conversion as the heart is opened to Christ and old habits are turned away from, but these are realizations of one's true selves.

This Too Shall Pass

Even in the midst of hellishness, it is better to focus on the way you want to remember a moment. When things are over the pain is quickly gone.

But while we are in the middle of things we try so hard to avoid heroism and humility because we think that the transient love of the lunatick public is more important.

They can suffer a little bit of embarrassment for the freedom of my soul. They too are only human.

It is better to do something unique in the face of criticism than to later regret doing nothing. Opinions change but a moment when past is gone forever.

It is a shame even to speak of the things that they do in secret

To me this means, tell what the Spirit impresses you to tell, but things that you do not know or are only rumored about do not even consider or think about. Defend truth and holiness, the rest must be avoided.

Things that have only been suggested should certainly not be thought about or imagined. They are the unconverted children of darkness and what they do is the result of their allegiances. What must be done is to bring souls to Jesus, and He will help them clean up their behavior.

This also applies to homosexuality, btw, because we are not to condemn, but avoid what we consider unholy. It is God's business to sustain and support them and convince them that they need new hearts. Our only work is not to condemn, but to help them to lean on Jesus. Once they lean on Jesus He will give them the strength and conviction that they need.

Civilly they should be respected as are all citizens under government. Because the soul that does not lean on Jesus is a very dark soul capable of all kinds of awful things, so they should not be targeted in that way. How many heterosexual men are demonic and destructive in their behavior!


There has to be a separation between church and state.

Under current translations of the Bible homosexuality is a sin. Open sin cannot be a part of the clergy's life. The bible is relatively clear about the church's role in dealing with visible sins.
We are to judge those inside the church.

But outside of the church, there should be no difference between homosexuals and all other people.

The rules of the church are for defending the body of Christ. It is impossible to have a church of Christ if Christ obeyed.

Poured Out

I poured out my complaint before Him, I showed Him my trouble.

Holy and Blessed God I am in trouble and I need Your help. I am trying to readjust and do what I believe You want me to do. Blessed and Holy God I ask that You will realign my reality. I am trying to do the least harm in general. I also want to I depend on You for everything and I trust in You I ask You merciful God to show me how to do the work that You want me to do. I am so glad to have a part in Your Holy plans, I pray that You will show me how to understand and glorify Your wisdom and to live and walk in the paths of Your wisdom.

Blessed Lord God You love us and give us choice because You are wise. You rule with wisdom, You created us in it and You let us live in it as well. Please teach me to understand Your will as it is written in Your word.

To the extent of your ability

We need to sit at the feet of Jesus and to actually pay attention to what is said
It is the Word which carries to us the power of God

Instruments of God

The competition is between the pawns of God and the pawns of Satan

The words are accepted and affect the life, this is evidence of the spirit. Anything accessible through the flesh is of no concern.

Deny Yourself, Take up Your Cross, and Follow Me

At all times Jesus strove to free people from superstition and laws that were contrary to the purposes and intentions of God. (Luke 6.7 , 1 John 3.8, Matt. 16.23)

Jesus was well aware that the Pharisees were watching Him closely in order to
find an excuse to put Him to death, but He, in order to teach what was right,
did the works of His Father God even under their scrutiny because it was the
right thing to do. The pharisees were liars who were enslaving God's people
under a system of stupid and useless rules that burdened the people down so that
they could take no pleasure in worshiping God. (Lu 11:46, Matt. 23.13, Luke 6.1, Mark 2.27)

How abominable that what worked to destroy the Jews is now accepted by Christians and is now causing them to fall into the same trap. So just as the era of the Jews ended when they looked at useless rules instead of their Savior, so Chrisianity is becoming empty because people are in spiritual bondage and have no place for the Spirit of God in their hearts.

All those that want to follow God will be blessed with a way to do so, because it is the spirit that gives us our holy desires. (Matt. 5.6 )

Earthly Time

How much time do I have on earth?
I would like to spend it wisely and efficiently. I would like to be of highest use possible to God. I would also like to be able to do things quickly. I am pretty convinced that my purpose is to be different and remain reasonable, and receive funding to do the will of the Lord.

Oh I forgot, I have to accept apparent wastes of time because the Lord, through His angels, is protecting me from other problems, and preventing me from something worse than what appears to be waste.
Then merciful God, How best can I fill this uncertain time with things that will be of use to You?
I will spend my time religiously, but should I also write? paint? The uncertainty of Your Will for me leaves me with confusion about how I should spend my time.
Other people have ideas, but most of them are not from You, so please show me the directions that You wish me to move in.
I have forgotten that no one knows how much time they have on earth. I will have to make a reasonable guess.

Honor His Presence

If God places His presence somewhere we have to honor it, if God surrounds something we must 'take off our shoes'

It is not the mountain, but the holy fire of God on the mountain

I believe that God must make His presence known to His children, so we should not be afraid of not seeing it

Saul did not recognize God's presence in His word
and took His word lightly

Even as God is above our dimensions
His word embodies His presence
and every word becomes full of judgment
bringing death or blessings

Do you think that they can create a personal purgatory that reflects a world full of your sins? Wouldnt that be awful, or is it a way for them to take the gems of the universe.

I honestly cannot keep track of my sins, because I am a sinner and sin naturally. But if I can keep track of each word of God then there might be some hope that Jesus will recognize me.

How can we see sin except through the word of God
How nice that God illustrated the reality of consequence with instant death in that instance.
How comfortable we are with death deferred

Life is meant to be enjoyed, like wine

Blessed Lord God, thank you for reminding me You have all power in your hands. You created people and their personalities and You have made them little masters of their universes, or masters of their little universes and they learn some things and create beauty from what they learn to control. By strength and skill they arrange what they cannot control, so that they can taste and drink in the essence of being.
Blessed Lord God there is no sin in life since life is meant to be enjoyed, it is You who created enjoyment and the parts we enjoy
But since life is precarious because of sin you insist that we anchor our focus in You and Your law in order to keep us from being consumed until we have passed through the trial of earth and can live fully in the new earth.

Wholly and Completely

God please have mercy upon me
I need reverence because I want to worship you in my entire body and soul, and I need to know you wholly and completely. Acknowledging Your eternal majesty and becoming a pure instrument in Your hands.

My Confidence

You are the only essential in the universe
You created us as expressions of yourself for a purpose
You will accomplish this purpose
When I recognized how fleeting the world was,

Or I agreed to let things go

This came only after investigating my cherished desires and the things that I felt were important.

Your angels are mighty

I suppose that I have not understood how fasting is considered humility, but I will make it a sacrifice of humility.
It is possible that I take some things for granted because of my rights through Christ
Christ already did everything, what is there for me to do?
Forgive me for not understanding, I am willing to understand if You would teach me .
I suppose that I am used to the Holy Spirit doing everything for me.
I am used to everything being done, I cannot believe that I have to do
things on my own.
God how is it possible that I do not understand this? Your angels are mighty. I am tired, everything is hard, what is it You want me to do?
I do not understand merciful one, what you want me to do. God I do not have the strength on my own, please in Your mercy help me to do what I want to do, which is really to do Your will for me. Help me.

The severity in which God holds these faults.

I am careless in my worship
I do not recognize my reality to God and heaven
I consider myself invisible and not noticed
I do not think of myself as taken seriously
so I do not take what I do or say seriously
I do not think that it is noticeable
If I were to believe that God considers us capable and expects us to behave as reasonable additions to His eternal court, well then I would be horrified by myself
But fortunately, I think of myself as one of the masses on earth scrabbling for a meager existence and that Jesus has perhaps spread over us the grace that we need to make it to heaven and then everything there could be taken seriously
otherwise it seems like there would be a lot of work and self monitoring and self consciousness
Also this whole thought monitoring, I thought all of these things could take place after the resurrection so that one
could one just scrape by while on earth

But,
no.
we must grow
and being perfect in one level
we must move on to the next
having been made perfect
or having done one's utmost!!!! and very best
God then covers with His grace what was lacking
and then it is time to be moved
But we must, after fear of change, be grateful-- for if God is still with us then we are forever a branch that is filled with His Spirit.

Our Soul's Voices

We have taught instruments to sing, but aren't our souls closer to our own voices?
